Why Jinternship?
Jinternship DC gives you the opportunity to spend the summer in an exciting city with an incredible internship, with opportunities to network, have fun, be part of a community, all the while being inspired as a Jew. Whether you are on a career track in one of these key DC or Baltimore industries, or if your career aspirations are in a different industry, Jinternship DC will help you land a top internship in one of the world’s most competitive cities for internships.
You’ll spend your summer living with other Jewish students from around the country, tap into spirituality, Jewish inspiration, and Shabbat celebrations as a part of a tight-knit community.
The program is designed for students that are looking to be future Jewish leaders by developing a foundation in Jewish thought, living and community. It will include networking with lay leaders , internationally renowned speakers, inspiring Shabbatonim, speakers , community workshops, as well as exciting tours and trips.
Lectures will include engaging discussions connecting Jewish living to medicine, business, politics, biology, science, relationships and leadership.
Medical Interns at Johns Hopkins and all Baltimore interns will have complimentary housing provided in the Upper Park Heights neighborhood in Baltimore. Capitol Hill/ DC Interns will secure their own housing in the DC metro area and is the students responsibility.
All students come together for Shabbatons that take place in the welcoming Baltimore Jewish community, known for its warmth and hospitality.
